Raising Awareness, Out of the Darkness Walk

As a survivor of suicide loss, last year I participated in the Out of the Darkness Walk in Helena, to raise awareness and funds for Suicide Prevention. I personally raised $230 and Team Town Pump raised $730.

This year, there will be an Out of the Darkness Community Walk in Butte, and I was asked to serve as the Chairperson of the Committee. I am honored to work toward the goal of eliminating suicide by raising funds for resources that are returned to our local community.

I've also registered Team Town Pump again and we would welcome all walkers who wish to join us in our goal to raise awareness and funds to prevent suicide with help from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

It would be my ultimate hope that we could have a Team Town Pump at each Community Walk, showing our support for this important cause. Town Pump Charitable Foundation has agreed to be a Statewide Sponsor, providing funding for each walk.

It is a blessing to work for a company which is willing to support causes such as suicide prevention in such a meaningful way.
